Just as no two custom pieces are the same,
no two custom orders follow the same workflow.
But generally, here are the basics
All custom items require a 3D model that we will print in castable resin for casting. Simple sterling designs are $20, gold designs are $30. We will quote a price for the design if it’s more complicated (detailed organic designs, faces, complex structures, etc.).
If we’re designing an item for a specific stone, we recommend sending the stone to us so we can take a 3D scan of it. This way the 3D designers will have a virtual copy of your stone to design around, ensuring a perfect fit. We can still work with only the dimensions and some pictures of your stone (as we did for years before the 3D stone scanner was available), but having this option makes the whole process easier.
For sterling silver
Any sterling silver item under 5 grams is a flat $55 plus shipping (that includes the $20 design fee). We’ll design the 3D model and cast it upon your approval.
For sterling items potentially over 5 grams, we’ll create the 3D model first, then quote you a final price for the casting.
For gold
For ALL gold items under 3 grams the initial flat rate is $60 plus shipping, we’ll create the 3D model first (there’s a $30 fee for that), then quote you a final price for the casting. Pricing will basically be based heavily on the weight of the final product which cannot be known until after the 3D model is completed.
Delivery
Our head office in Richmond, BC, CANADA receives shipments from our factory semi-monthly. If you are willing to wait for the next scheduled delivery, there will be no additional shipping fees beyond the cost to send it from our office to you. If you need it in a rush, we can ship directly from out factory to you via courier (FedEx or DHL) for an additional premium shipping fee.
