This item is cast in solid 14Kt yellow gold (not plated) and features an open heart shaped bail with a rounded and domed long teardrop shaped pinch mounting. This style of pinch bail is "front to back" meaning the mounted item will have a hole drilled front to back as opposed to side-to-side. The pegs go through your stone and meet near the middle. The length of the pegs are about 4mm long, but can be trimmed to your desired length so both tangs can sit flush on the surface of your item when the bail is closed.
Bail will accept chain/cording thicknesses up to 2.5mm.
