This leaping dolphin shaped sterling silver pendant comes with a soldered loop and bail. The dolphin is leaping over a prong setting ideally suited for a 6mm x 8mm cabochon. You may be able to set a faceted stone in here, but it would either have to be a shallow stone, or you could file the inside edge of the seat to accommodate.
You could also temporarily cover the back with tape to fill the dolphins body cavities with colored resin!
