How to Set up a Beach Themed Jewelry Display

by admin 04 Jul 2022 0 Comments

Display your beach-themed jewelry at a craft show, on your web pages, or in social posts with these easy and inexpensive ideas.
Beach-themed jewelry is lightweight, evokes a sense of sun and sand, and plays to the wearer’s love of ocean colors, summer fashions, and breezy fabrics.
Your targeted buyers could range from boho beach bums in denim daisy dukes and candy-colored camis to elegant “coastal grandmothers” rocking their linens and cream cardigans – and everyone in between!
So, dress your displays accordingly.

Remember the rule of three. The rule of three says that people are more visually engaged when they see a group of three items. This rule is used in visual merchandising, the process of organizing a store and displays to increase sales. To use this rule, simply group your items into threes. For example, instead of two display props, use three.
The following ideas will help you create a beach-themed display that buyers will find irresistible.
Choose the ones that appeal to you most, are easily attainable, and complement your jewelry. Then, play around with the props, colors, and textures until you achieve the perfect beach-themed display.

Since nature has most of what you need for a beach-themed jewelry display, items from this list should be easy to find.

  1. Use sand, seashells, and tall stalks of tall beach grass or palm fronds for a simple beachy background.
  2. Using the rule of three for display, arrange your sea grass or palm in three mason jars painted with ocean colors like turquoise and surf white.
  3. Consider white or khaki linen garments or linen cloth as a backdrop for pieces of jewelry that will appeal to lovers of summery linen shirts and dresses.
  4. Use raffia, seagrass placemats, or beach mats over your display table for a compelling beach theme.
  5. A wood or metal seabird on a stand adds an authentic beachy touch.
  6. Dried starfish, bleached sand dollars, or a dried pufferfish bring the ocean to your display.
  7. A big straw beach tote with rolled-up white towels standing in it creates some height for your display, and the porous straw is perfect for displaying earrings and other jewelry.
  8. Branches of softly-weathered driftwood look especially lovely in a beach-themed display.
  9. Bring sand and ocean colors together in your displays for a beachy feel. Keep your display background colors soft – muted – so they blend—misty grays, greens, and blues with white and sand for contrast.
  10. Prop up a pastel-painted “beach” sign that says, “Beach Bum” or “Beach House.”
  11. Background props could include beachy things like flip flops, sunglasses, and a wicker picnic basket.

  1. Fill a tall glass cylinder with white pebbles and hang earrings around the rim of the glass.
  2. If you already have jewelry stands, display boxes, grids, and mannequin parts, incorporate them into your beach theme by trimming them with seashells, hemp rope, and sea-colored ribbons. Just be sure not to overwhelm the beauty of your jewelry creations.
  3. Find a piece of dried white coral and display rings on the coral branches.
  4. Arrange your jewelry pieces on driftwood branches. Drape necklaces over the driftwood.
  5. Fill a few dishes with sand and arrange your bracelets and anklets on the sand.
  6. Use a rolled-up beach towel and drape jewelry over it as a display base.
  7. Fill coconut shells with sand and display bracelets and anklets in them.
  8. Hang earrings from the brim of a wide straw sunhat.
  9. Display a tiny aquarium-sized treasure chest with a few jewelry pieces spilling out.
  10. Wrap hemp cargo net around clear glass jars and hang earrings on the net.

There are many ways to display your beach-themed jewelry. These ideas are meant to spark your creativity and help you get started. In no time, you’ll have a display that you love, attracting customers who love your jewelry.
